legacy |legasē| |legisi| noun ( pl. -cies)
• an amount of money or property left to someone in a will.
• a thing handed down by a predecessor : the legacy of a debt free campus!

It’s our sincere desire to be debt-free and therefore ensure a legacy for the Crosswinds community that is unencumbered by financial
constraints. As we do our very best to steward the resources of this fellowship, we need everyone who calls Crosswinds “home” to pray
and work with us to accomplish this important endeavor. Please join us as and ask God to work a miracle!

If you build It, they will come...or more aptly stated, they came, we had to build!

In the mid 1990's our congregation began to feel the crunch of running out of room. Space was tight in the original 1975 building and little did
we know that we were about to embark on a 10 year journey to create a building space to carry us into the next century.

2004 Children's/Youth Building Project

1997-2001 - saw 3 renovation/building projects added to our campus, but the rapid growth continued and we needed space - lots of it to
care for our children & teens. This 2004 project (over 40,000 sq ft ) included children's theaters & small rooms, nursery, crawlers & toddlers
rooms, Wings Pre-School, student ministries "The Box", restrooms, lobbies, sports fields, office renovations, bookstore, furnishings,
new Chapel roof structure, landscaping and...more parking - Total cost: $2,671,622.00.

Indebtedness - How did we get here...

Over the past 9 years major expansion plans were completed. Significant amounts of money were pledged and received. Even with
deliberate & carefully orchestrated plans, there are many variables in construction and design. We have identified construction cost over-runs,
higher interest and pledges that did not materialize – These three variables account for major components of our current rate of indebtedness.
In particular, unfulfilled pledges account for nearly $300,000 of our current debt load.

Next Steps...

Our expansion plans are now complete and although our target was for the remaining debt to be 1.3 million at the conclusion of the
current building capital campaign, the actual responsibilities in this area now total 1.76 million.

Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him
